Harry Anderson’s Biography
Born in Newport County, in the State of Rhode Island, from 1962 he moved with his father to California. He participated in the television series Night Court (night judge) for several years, from 1984 to 1992. Famous cabaret artist introduced Ellen DeGeneres to the special of the HBO Tenth Annual Young Comedians.
He remembers mostly for having portrayed Richie Tozier as an adult in the 1990 film It, based on the novel by Stephen King. After several films he showed himself in various cameos as in Tesoro … a baby is coming. For his role as Harry Stone he had several Emmy Award nominations (as Best Actor in a Comedy or Comedy Series) of various editions: 1985, 1986 and 1987 without ever winning it. He lived for a period in New Orleans.
