Fred Gwynne’s Biography
He began his career in the early fifties, playing mainly in television series, including I monsters (1964-1966); he also took part in several films, including Fatal Attraction (1987) with Michael Douglas and Glenn Close.
From the first wife Jean Reynard, with whom he was married from 1951 to 1980, Gwynne had five children: Evan, Dylan (who died in 1963, drowned in the family pool), Keyron (born with mental disability), Madyn and Gaynor.
Resolved in 1988 with Deborah Flater, Gwynne died in his sleep in 1993, eight days before he was 67, due to pancreatic cancer, which he had been ill for some time.
