Eva’s Biography

Daughter of Jansci Tilleman and Vilmos Gabor, her parents divorced in 1939.

Eva Gabor was the first of her family to emigrate to the United States. In fact, at the end of the 1930s she moved there with her first husband, the Swedish doctor Eric Drimmer, who was to be the osteopath of Greta Garbo.

Eva Gabor died in Los Angeles on July 4, 1995, at the age of 76, following an accident during a vacation in Mexico: she had lost her balance and had fallen into her bathtub .
